The INT-4 was designed to give local commanders a heavy punch when faced with belligerents in control of either armored assets or reinforced emplacements. The basic shape of the craft draws inspiration from the menacing lines of the Imperial AT-ST "scout walker." A pair of fold-away s-foils mount the primary thruster units and maneuvering vanes, giving the craft a fair degree of platform stability and maneuverability. Units may see duty as airborne combat patrols in addition to their anti-armor strike role. Few of these craft have seen use outside of military ranks, owing partly to the designers' opting to tailor the forward weapon mount for the Taim & Bak Mk 3e/S heavy blaster cannon - end-user certificates for this hardware is increasingly difficult to obtain.
